This book was good but something was missing. O'Dell and Griff had great chemistry. There were some really funny laugh out loud moments throughout the book. It was nice to see a bit of role reversal, where the male was the one second guessing himself and feeling a bit insecure. Nice to see that both characters grew as a result of their relationship.There were some things that the author, who doesn't really know football , should have researched. There is no way people can get such easy access to a professional team's locker room.
There is also no way that the quarterback would not know the name of the runningback.

The attention the writer pays the main protagonists is very detailed not only their physical appearance but alsot their mental struggles to do the ethical things
This book is about a girl named Odell who tried to follow in her fathers footsteps into becoming a lawyer but when she meets Griff all that goes out the window when he becomes her first case as a made partner!!!
Imani King never fails!!!
Grythpon and Odell romance story was great. I especially liked how Odell's parents turned their attitude around towards Odell at the end. Can't wait to read the next book ). I think Imani King did her dang thing again with this series!!!!
Getting two books for the price of one is not always a good thing but this time it was. Although I enjoyed the first book the most both were good. These books are good for anyone who wants to read two different takes on BWWM romance.
Good book from begin to end. Read the first book quarterback secret baby had read to the next can't wait for the next one . Loved how the book was all about Griff but they talked about his college football buddies and how they came together for a party. Give it a read you will not be disappointed .
He thought he was not good enough for her, so he allowed the relationship to be "SEX" only...he did not realize he fell in love. Odell's insecurities would not allow her to believe a "Hotshot" QB would want an exclusive relationship. Both were WRONG! Great story I give it 5 stars!
This was a great read I enjoyed it. This in my opinion is one of the best reads I've read of this Authors which shows growth from one book to the next. I read this on KU then decided to purchase it so I could add it to my collection. Great job and hot cover looking forward to the next one😉
